Digital Spark Industry Keynote Announcement
Digital Spark is thrilled to announce that Dr Jo Twist will be the industry keynote speaker on 5th September. Dr Jo Twist has been the CEO of UKIE since January 2012, prior to this she was at Channel 4 as Commissioning Editor for Education where she commissioned Digital Emmy-winning Battlefront II, a stable of games, and social media projects.
Dr Jo Twist said of her talk, "my keynote will focus on the exciting emerging ecosystem for our industry, including new routes to finance, new tax production credits for games as well as the UK's indie resurgence that has seen many micro studios and developers find success as they self-publish and bring their own product to new audiences."

Digital Conference Sparks off New Working Relations
The Digital Spark conference will have not one but two networking events, both will take place on the evening of 5th September in the centre of Dundee. These events will help delegates to build those precious working relationships.
Firstly there will be a drinks reception from 6pm at the McManus Art Gallery where delegates will have a unique private viewing of priceless Leonardo da Vinci sketches from the Royal Collection, currently touring the UK as part of the Diamond Jubilee. Drinks and food will be served from 6pm – 8pm and the event will be sponsored by Thorntons Solictors.
This will be followed by at networking party held at Dukes from 8pm for all delegates and local games developers and sponsored by Tag Games.
